Computer School
A long time ago I decided that wanted to go to computer school, but I wasn’t sure what that meant. I was pretty good at using one already, but I didn’t realize there were so many different directions you could go if you wanted to go to school for that reason. I ended up going to school to learn how to run some of the more common computer programs and applications, but that is not nearly the only thing I could have done.
If you want to do more with computers, this might be something you want to do. You can go to computer school just to learn the ins and outs of various programs, and these courses can be very short, but very informative. You will learn everything that each program does, and even if you already use it, chances are good that you are going to learn it can do many neat things while you are going through your computer school courses. I know I learned quite a bit even though I was already good with some of the different ones I used.
You can also take computer school classes that tell you how to program and fix any problems that might arise with any computer. These are some good paying jobs once you have completed school. Most companies use computers in one form or another, and that means they need to have someone on staff that can fix any problem that comes up. This type of computer school usually takes a bit longer, but is well worth what you are going to put into it. If you are very good with math, logic, and details, this might be a perfect fit for you.
Computer school is going to be just like any other institution of higher learning. You may have to apply, but you will probably not have a hard time getting in if you really want to do so. You should be able to get financial aid just as you would with any school, but if you have doubts, make sure you find out before you submit an application with a fee, if there is one. You may also find you are at a school that offers housing, or you may be on your own. If you need help, and they don’t have their own housing unit, they may still be able to help you find something if you ask.
